Trade fairs in Frankfurt

18 of the world's largest trade fairs and exhibitions take place in Frankfurt. These include the international exhibitions "Premiere" and "Ambiente" in spring, "Tendence" in autumn, the IAA Frankfurt Motor Show (every two years), the Frankfurt Book Fair, the Heimtextil textiles trade fair, the Pro Light & Sound exhibition, the Music Fair and the ACHEMA chemical engineering exhibition (every three years). The Convention Center, which forms part of the Trade Fair & Exhibition Center, makes Frankfurt an appealing conference destination with an international reputation. In 2004 around 1,586,766 delegates took part in 50 events. The Hotel Concorde is about 800 metres away (10 minutes' walk) from the Trade Fair. 4 minutes by underground or S-Bahn train.
